What new skill will you learn?
There is always something new to learn in the Makerspace. Every week our Master Makers lead new workshops on a variety of topics, skills, and interests. Members wanting to use the high-tech equipment available in the Makerspace should enroll in the appropriate workshop designed to teach proper use and safety operations for our devices.

There is no better place to be after school than the Makerspace at Homeroom Education. Our after school STEAM Labs are designed to help kids get all the wiggles out that they have bottle up during the day and put that energy into fun, constructive, collaborative activities focused on STEAM topics. Each day of the week STEAM Lab focuses on a different STEAM field (such as physics, chemistry, or robotics) but over the course of a few months will include experiments, activities, builds, and projects that incorporate science, technology, engineering, art, and math fundamentals.
Tuesday STEAM Lab 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Get crafty this Fall after school in the Makerspace as our Master Makers lead hands-on crafts, builds, and activities with a science twist. For the love of science!
Tech Teams are technology and engineering focused clubs for teens organized by the Makerspace's Master Makers. Each team is different, has a different tech focus, compete in different challenges, and have different maximum member numbers. Each team also has twice-yearly dues to help cover to cost of the equipment used throughout the Fall and Spring terms.
While teens are welcome to join and leave a Tech Team at any time during the term, no prorated costs or refunds will be issued due to the equipment and faculty cost for these specialized programs. When you join a Tech Team we highly recommend that you plan to commit for the entire term.
Want to learn how to build and program robots? Homeroom Education is forming Tech Teams now! Contact us for more information.
